Custom Packages: Each home calls for something different, and that can even be the case with rooms. Some rooms in your home may need a simple cabana door while others need a large sliding glass door that can pocket away completely. Mix and match product types and manufacturers to create the ideal combination for your home.

Colors: Colors can help a window or door seamlessly match its surroundings or become a beautiful focal point. Your custom impact product can be produced in a standard color, like white or bronze, or you can choose a company like Sierra Pacific that offers 75 standard colors. Some companies like Kolbe Windows and Doors also offer custom colors to match anything including your home’s exterior paint, landscaping, or even furniture.

Shape & Size: Unique shapes and large sizes can take any ordinary opening and make it extraordinary. Replace standard rectangle fixed windows with an octagon, circle, or quatrefoil to add dimension. Use large storefront glass panels to create massive openings with impressive views. Arched top doors can make beautiful and striking entry doors.

Glass: Impact glass does not just protect your home from storm damage. It can add UV protection, become a design element of your window or door, or both. Any glass product you choose can be made with tinted glass to help filter out light or Low-E coatings to reflect UV rays. Opaque and textured glass can be used for privacy and concealing storage spaces. Beyond function, custom decorative glass can be made to mimic the look of stained glass, with colorful glass pieces and caning creating a unique image.

Hardware: Our manufacturers partner with top hardware brands like Baldwin, Ashley Norton, and Copper Creek to offer a variety of styles, functions, and finishes. Complement a modern door with a ladder pull, a traditional door with brass hardware, or even add a smart lock to make security easier. Available finishes include satin nickel, oil rubbed bronze, brass, matte black, and more.

Muntins: Muntins, also referred to as grilles, can be added to any window or door in unique or traditional patterns to break up large expanses of glass. Prairie and colonial patterns are common for traditional-style homes. Thick muntins used in tall doors create simulated divided lites for a contemporary feel. Muntins can also be used in shapes to create bows, angles, or even custom images like a palm tree.

Configuration/Operation: The function of a window or door can conform to your daily life and needs. Unique configurations like corner sliding glass doors and corner bifolds can open entire rooms. Pocket doors can vanish into walls to eliminate cumbersome panels when a door is open. Change windows to a casement or awning to make it easier to operate over a counter or behind furniture. Even French Doors can have 2 functional panels or one stationary panel depending on how much space is needed when open.
